Christmas Appeal 2025:

We thank everyone for their support of the Shoebox Appeal...This year we are again supporting the T4U shoebox appeal and just over 20 boxes were collected in church and taken to the despatch point in Stockport. These boxes bring real hope and happiness to many deprived children and families at Christmas, please accept our thanks for your support and love for those whose lives are much less than comfortable, and are indeed challenging.

We have recently received a note from a volunteer who works with Teams4U updating us as to the whereabouts of our boxes. She says:they just had the final details. This year they distributed and far exceeded their target.Our final number from Stockport area all went to Romania. They went to 3 areas there, also to Belarus and Bosnia. For the first time a load went to Muldova, and also to Kuma in Uganda, where they support schools and all the summer mission work.  Apparently, more processing centres were set up and several new collection areas like ours. so many, many thanks to those who supported the appeal from their church.
