Some information has come to us about a streamed concert tomorrow, presented by Meraki Duo [ Meera Maharaj (flute) and James Girling (guitar)]. They should have been performing at our Lunchtime Concert last April, so this is an exciting opportunity to hear them at this moment. Can we  recommend that you try to watch the Concert to enjoy the music.

Wednesday 11th Nov, 1pm, live from 1901 Arts Club, streamed on YouTube.

Meera says: It's a South American themed programme and we're premiering a piece written for us by Brazilian composer, Rafael Marino Arcaro. Can't wait to share it with everyone as he really is a brilliant composer. There'll also be some Villa Lobos, as well as music by Bolivian and Argentinian composers.

There'll be a discussion at the end of the stream, via the live chat feature on YouTube so we would love to hear from you if watching it live. Rafael (the composer) will join us at the end for the discussion, so it's really exciting that he will be able to answer questions about his own piece, it's a cracking new flute/guitar work!

The concert will also be available to watch after the event, via the same link.
