20th Anniversary Season of Lunchtime Concerts
Our 20th Anniversary Season enjoyed an excellent start with 3 superb Concerts in September, October and November. Dominic Downs on Wednesday, 17th September (a prize-winning pianist and composer, being described as a young man who has 'an exceptional talent with a bright future ahead of him').At the present moment, Dominic is currently studying piano at the Royal Northern College of Music with Dr. Murray McLachlan.
Our next Lunchtime Concert date fell on 16th October, the date when our very first Concert took place and when we had an Organ Recital.........how fitting that we should have been able to arrangefor two organists to present a wonderful programme of music for the organ. It was an excellent Concert, delivered by two brilliant young organists,
The 20th November Concert enabled us to welcome Students from Chetham's School of Music, Manchester, - 5 students presenting a programme covering euphonium, voice, and violin.It was an amazing Concert from very talented young musicians.
So we move into the New Year and commence this part of our Series with a further group of Students from Chetham's School of Music presenting the Programme on Wednesday, 15th January, Here are the details:

Hope to see you all....... entrance to the Lunchtime Concerts is by Progcramme (£8.00p.), and Light Lunches are available from 12 mid-day, with the Concert commencing at 1.00p.m.
